That’s Spelled G-E-E-K

This is a photo of a speaker. Like, a musical speaker. The photo was taken at the recent Consumer Electronics Show. It’s the world’s largest annual tradeshow for consumer technology, and America’s largest annual tradeshow.  It has 2,700 exhibitors who fill 1.8 million net square feet of exhibit space to showcase their latest products and services to more than 140,000 attendees. That’s a ratio of 52 potential customers for each booth. Or, for a particularly hardy attendee, that’s 16 seconds per exhibit, assuming he’s peeing down his leg and carrying refreshments. The show is held, appropriately, in Las Vegas.

My brother attended, which is how I got the photo, although he is not a geek. He took a few breaks during the day.
