But I really liked the city. It had a cosmopolitan feel with a few charming old buildings mixed it. The travel writers don’t much care for it, but I would gladly go back. It’s prosperous and multicultural, but easy to get around and not too expensive. There are lots of museums, things to see, good food and local wine, a nice running path along the river…
I met Shawn there for the Rheingau Wine Festival, as you can see in the foreground. Lots of nice local wines, local foods like flammkuchen, and plenty of wurst.
