What’s in your…refrigerator?

24 08 2007

I’ve made several attempts to get people to tell me what’s in their refrigerator, with no cooperation whatsoever.

Mary gave me Amy Krouse Rosenthal’s Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life for my birthday, and it just so happens that she also has tried to get refrigerator content lists, with likewise limited success.

So, here is a list of the items in our refrigerator on Emerald Isle. We’re leaving tomorrow and they will be moved to a dumpster, except for the beer, which will be left for the housekeeper. I’ll start at the top:

Ice cream sandwiches, Edy’s Double Fudge Brownie, Edy’s Fruit Bars, milk, orange juice, water, lots of beer, tonic water, gin, ketchup, half empty Diet Coke, eggs, garlic, spinach, two kinds of mustard, 2 bottles cocktail sauce, cheddar cheese, provolone, turkey, ham, grapes, 1/4 dried out lemon, 1/2 dried out lime, 3 healthy limes, 1/2 dried out green pepper, bits of lettuce, 1/2 piece of loser blueberry pie, 1/2 and 1/2, butter, yogurt, leftover collards, another cocktail sauce, 1 wilty cucumber, 1 red pepper.
